We stayed from the 4th to the 11th May and this was our 2nd visit to Dreams Hotel and once again we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and varied and the deserts amazing. All of the staff we engaged with were welcoming and helpful and made us feel so much at home. We booked a bungalow by the sea this time which we were delighted with and the room and cleanliness was first class. The only thing I didn’t care for was the large inflated floating play area which looking out of character compared with the rest of the hotel and partially spoilt the amazing view from our patio, however I can understand that they are catering for families and it probably is an added attraction for the children. All in all a wonderful stay and can highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel itself was nice, clean and tidy but it had just opened for the season 2 days prior so I would expect it be clean. Gardens were a mess and unkempt. Which is not something we’ve witnessed with other Dreams hotels around the world. Only saw one gardener the whole time we were there. Majority of the staff were lazy. Spent time on mobile phones especially poor waitresses. Aggelos at the barefoot grill was the only person conscientious enough to ask and take orders even though there were 4 staff on. Despina the pool bar waitress just walked in between beds so she didn’t have to ask for Any orders and would get one customer order At a time. Many customers were frustrated and got up to go to the bar in their own. The evening entertainment was poor. With a singer for 2 hours and then nothing. Most ended up playing cards and going to bed early. Drinks were not premium ones and you had to ask for these but even then they would switch to local spirits. Food was very basic with not a lot of choice. Small buffet restaurant with not a lot of choice per day. Food tend to be the same dishes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms were small but clean and a balcony which was over the Greek restaurant. Only one pool open because it had only just opened. Highlight of the holiday was seeing fireflies outside the hotel on a night which was magical, Overall wouldn’t come back needs more attention to detail

I would not class this as a luxury 5 star hotel. I’ve never done a trip advisor’s review and usually give a pinch of salt when reading reviews as everyone has different views and standards but felt compelled after a not so 5 star experience. Positives - stunning location looking out at the marina and bay. The hotel is set up as a complex and easy to walk around and there is space for everyone. 30 mins walk to the beautiful marina was worth a look around. 25 euros for a double kayak for an hour and can paddle out to the church. 20 mins by uber to Old town Corfu which cost around 80 euros in total and worth a visit. Hotel room is good size but house keeping could be better and we got missed a couple of times. Majority of staff are friendly and attentive but service is slow when ordering drinks and clearly not enough staff. The staff are very quick whipping your plate away in the buffet when you’re still chewing your last mouthful but also had it where drinks were not offered and plates left on the tables whilst having deserts so very mixed experience and mixed staff training. Cocktails are good but not always served in their corresponding glasses but the non alcoholic larger is very good. Did have a glass served with lipstick on and no apology from the bartender which a waiter commented to me that the bartender had been rude to me. Food at the bare grill is good. Pizzas and calzone was very tasty. The seafood at lunch which you do not need to book is tasty but unfortunately the salmon and sauce was lukewarm and rice hot. Fed this back to the waitress. It has a lovely view and nice selection of starters but lacking side plates when we asked for the welcoming bread and dips which you expect rather than breadcrumbs going everywhere. This was the same at the Greek and evening seafood place. Swimming pools are good and enough sun loungers available but some people are reserving them and not turning up until 4pm or not at all as the case yesterday and would expect staff to remove the towels. Negatives This hotel is advertised as having a Greek, seafood and Italian which you can book a reservation for on the app. We specifically booked this hotel as wanted to try these restaurants and not have to just go to a buffet. On our first night a Monday we were advised that at midnight reservations would become available, unfortunately this was not the case and none available and not able to book anything for the entire week. Many guests complained about this. Next day spoke to reservations and there was a man complaining about the exact same thing and hadn’t been able to get into any restaurants but he also complained his friends had been able to book every night. He also complained the restaurants were half full. We were advised by reservation that there is nothing available our whole stay but they would see what they could do. They later booked us in the seafood for Sunday the day before we leave. We constantly checked the app during the week as complained to guest services again after hearing new guests given the same speech about using the app to book and was advised more slots are going to become available. On the Friday at 1600 there was one availability at the Greek for 1900 which we booked. It opens at 1830 and when we got there the entire inside was empty tables and outside was half full which was infuriating, I checked the app and it said nothing available. Spoke to waitress and asked if they were fully booked tonight and she said no and I explained our lack of bookings and she explained they are short staff. We complained to guest services who said they would try and get us a reservation at the Italian which didn’t happen. We advised their system doesn’t work and it’s false advertising as allegedly unlimited visits. The staff did not admit to preferential treatment to the preferred club guests who have additional perks but not for dinner bookings but the preferred clubs guests when they arrive can book reservations with them therefore they are being given an additional perk not advertised. Seafood restaurant - we were expecting a proper seafood experience for the evening and was not expecting only one fish as a seafood main to be offered. The burnt butter was rock hard but tastes nice but would have been more enjoyable if we’d been given plates. Knives and forks were not replenished so had to ask for some and had to ask 3 times where our drink was. The shrimp starter only had 2 tiny shrimps on it and the pork belly starter was served in a small bowl with purée and was very difficult to cut due to the small bowl and the pork being reheated as was dry. The lamb shank was ok but didn’t feel a complete meal and would have been better if had some rice or mash/boiled potatoes. The tuna steak was good and was 2 steaks. The Greek food was disappointing as thought it would be more authentic. The lamb was good but would have preferred a more Greek accompaniment than chips. The linguine only had 3 prawns in it. Restaurant was only half full outside and empty inside when we arrived. Starter of baked chilli feta was good but didn’t come with any bread of anything and didn’t want to chow down on a block of feta! All the restaurants were clearly not full when open. No smoking hotel but people smoking cigarettes around the pool and sat out on the veranda at main bar by reception. There was no adults inflatable water park as advertised only one for young children. We went as a couple and I would guess 3/4 of the guests were young families babies and toddlers at the time we went which we were not expecting. Luckily all the youngsters were well behaved apart from the odd wail but this could have been a very different experience if that was not the case. At the start of our stay there was only one bartender at theatre bar which was completely inadequate especially when cocktails are being made but as the week went on later in the evening there would be two. There appears to be a lack of staff which several guests had commented on. The buffet tasted good with a variety of options but the food was consistently lukewarm to cold which was disappointing and certainly not 5 star. We always expect buffets to be a bit hit and miss with hot food but this was really disappointing. Disappointed with the evening entertainment as wasn’t expecting a screening of Greece to be Friday nights entertainment which is an odd choice. There is also a lack of seating in the evening at the theatre advise to arrive at 2000 for the 2100 show as all the chairs are gone. Kids mini disco starts at 2030. The soulful divas were very good but they lost half the crowd due to the order the songs were sung in. Would have been better doing the Mary popping and Disney medley at the start as it’s straight after the kids mini disco rather than the slower heavier songs. The singer by the seaside on Sunday night was very good. The staff had swapped out the beach chairs that day for proper chairs and set up the area better. Would be nice if the beach bar on the grass looking out over the sea was open in the evenings as would have been nice location to sit in the evenings. The beach bar was closed all day Saturday and the swim up bar was shut the entire week. We will not be returning unfortunately and we hope they manage to step up their game as this hotel is in a stunning location.

My family and I visited over half term and the following week. The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are really good size, tastefully decorated, very comfy beds, good aircon and are cleaned to a good standard so no negatives there. The buffet we felt was a very good standard. There was lots of choice, all very tasty and really enjoyed the food there. Unfortunately this is where the positives relating to food stops. We stayed for 12 days, and were not able to get a reservation at any of the a-la-carte restaurants despite being told the booking system refreshes daily. I must have tried 30 times over the holiday at various different times (including 1am) and was not able to once. Guest relations took down our details each day to contact us if a cancellation was made, but was never contacted. Due to this we either had to eat at the same buffet restaurant every night, or pay to leave the resort and go to private restaurants - something we did for a change of scenery. The grounds don’t seem in great condition, the pools are okay but all just feel a bit tatty and worn and the service is really hit and miss.. some are excellent and seem to care, others couldn’t care less and you feel a burden on them. This isn’t a 5 star hotel, which is a shame as a few small changes would definitely improve it. We had a reasonably good holiday but left feeling a bit disappointed, especially for the money it cost.
